Obama explodes “weird” Trump’s claim to 2016 election “traitor”

Donald Trump accused Barack Obama of “treason”, claiming that he had drawn his first presidency, linking him to the so-called Russian election intervention.

“They tried to steal the election,” Trump said at the White House, claiming that Obama tried to undermine his 2016 victory over Hillary Clinton.

An Obama spokesman issued a rare rebuttal, saying the Trump attack was a “distracted weak attempt.”

Trump last week was referring to a report by the National Intelligence Agency Tulsi Gabbard that accused Obama and his national security team of “engaging in a years-long coup on President Trump” – a Democrat’s imprint.

Trump’s comments on Tuesday were due to his face as reporters’ questions about late-stage sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, who committed suicide in jail while awaiting trial in 2019.

The president’s administration is under pressure to release more information about convicted pedophiles.

“The witch hunting you should talk about is President Obama who they were caught absolutely cold,” Trump told reporters.

He added: “It’s time to go after people, Obama was caught directly.”

“He is guilty. It’s treason. It’s every word you can think of.”

His comments were posted when he hosted Philippine President Ferdinand Marcos Jr in the Oval Office.

“Our offices do not usually exude constant nonsense and misunderstandings that flow out of this White House,” Obama spokesman Patrick Rodenbush said.

“But these claims are worthy of mention. These weird allegations are ridiculous, a distraction-free attempt.”

Friday’s report The Office of the Director of National Intelligence decrypted emails from Obama’s aides and believed they had suppressed intelligence discoveries that Russia failed to probe attempts to crack the U.S. election database.

Gabbard argued that the emails showed evidence of a “treason plot” endangering Trump, and she threatened to refer Obama administration officials to the Justice Department for a lawsuit.

But an Obama spokesman said in a statement Tuesday: “Nothing in the documents released last week undermined the widely accepted conclusions of Russia’s efforts to influence the 2016 presidential election, but failed to successfully manipulate any votes.”

The U.S. intelligence community released an assessment in January 2017, concluding that Russia was trying to undermine Clinton’s campaign and promoted Trump in a vote three months ago.

U.S. officials found that the work included hacking on Russian robot farms and democratic emails on social media, but they eventually concluded that the impact could be limited and did not actually change the election results.

The Senate Intelligence Committee’s bipartisan report for 2020 also found Russia trying to help Trump’s 2016 campaign.

Secretary of State Marco Rubio, who was then a Senator, was one of the Republicans who signed the report.

The first two years of Trump’s first presidency were covered up by an investigation by his own Justice Department. Whether he had conspired with Russia to swing the 2016 results.

The resulting Mueller report found that there was a lack of evidence that Trump or his campaign had coordinated with the Kremlin and that no one was charged with such a crime.

Subsequent special counsel asked Durham’s report that the initial FBI investigation lacked “analytical rigor” and relied on “primitive, separate and undegradable intelligence.”
