Clinton slams Trump’s DC crime plan as “unrelated” and dangerous

Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton came under fire on social media on Monday Washington, DC Being “nothing” to other top Democrats, including House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries, was also under a similar impetus.

Jeffries posted a similar reaction to Clinton on social media, saying: “Violent crime in Washington, D.C. is at its lowest level in 30 years. Donald Trump has no reason to take over the local police department. There is zero credibility for issues with law and order. Lost.”

Conservatives on social media also tore Jeffries apart.

Trump eliminated the charts, showing media showing that the country’s capital was allegedly worse than the crime trends in other cities around the world, calling on them to “look at the numbers” as he got rid of the data’s discovery.

In the following years, shootings in the nation were sensationalized by shootings that left innocent children dead, a trend for juveniles to commit carjacking, which in some cases were deadly, and in some cases sold crime and attacks on government employees, summer interns and others, including a fatal shooting of 21-year-old Congressional interns, Erication Tarpinian-Jachym in June.

Trump’s opponents list crime statistics that show crime is falling in Washington. The Washington Metropolitan Police Department said violent crime rates fell 26% this year compared to the same time period in 2024. Similarly, attacks using dangerous weapons fell by 20% and homicides fell by 12%.
