Ranveer Singh and Kriti Sanon served as muses for Manish Malhotra as they walked the ramp at Varanasi’s Namo Ghat. The actors also visited Kashi Vishwanath Temple during their visit to Varanasi.
Manish Malhotra turned Varanasi’s Namo Ghat into a runway as he exhibited his collection at the two-day event, organised by the Indian Minorities Foundation. Ranveer Singh and Kriti Sanon served as muses for Manish as they walked the ramp for his collection titled Banarasi Saree – a vibrant portrayal of Indian culture and craftsmanship.
Videos capturing Ranveer and Kriti’s runway walk at the event are being circulated widely on social media. Ranveer was dressed in a striking metallic and dark-colored sherwani, while Kriti looked enchanting in a bridal red lehenga. Against the backdrop of fireworks and diyas adorning the runway, the Bollywood stars added glamour to the event.
Ranveer called the experience of walking the ramp on a Ganga ghat ‘million times better’ than walking in a banquet. He told ANI, “The event was amazing. I was talking to the other models backstage that we have walked in many fashion shows but this is once in a lifetime opportunity. Walking on the banks of river Ganga felt a million times better than walking in Mumbai’s 5-star banquet.”
Before gracing the ramp, Ranveer and Kriti paid a visit to the Kashi Vishwanath Temple to offer prayers. Donning a yellow kurta-pyjama set, Kriti exuded grace, while Ranveer opted for a pristine white kurta. Manish Malhotra was spotted in a pink and white ensemble.
On the professional front, Ranveer will next be seen in Farhan Akhtar’s Don 3. Meanwhile, Kriti, who is currently enjoying the success of her heist comedy Crew, alongside Kareena Kapoor Khan and Tabu, alongside Diljit Dosanjh and Kapil Sharma, is gearing up for her upcoming project, Do Patti.
