Adding that “Modi looted Rs 10,000 crore” through the electoral bonds, which the Congress did not do in 60 years, Uddhav said “it is the time to get rid of the BJP”.

Hitting out at the BJP for allegedly misusing the central agencies against Opposition party leaders, Shiv Sena UBT chief Uddhav Thackeray on Sunday said that once INDIA bloc forms the government in the Centre, they will not be spared. “They are using ED, CBI and I-T against us. But remember, when tomorrow we form government, these ED and CBI would be under us. I warn these officials also… tomorrow you also will not be spared. Like they barged into the houses of our people, we will also barge into your house of these people (BJP and ruling alliance),” Uddhav said adding that it is a “gang of terrorists” that is targeting the Opposition.

Addressing a campaign rally for party candidate Vinayak Raut in Ratnagiri, Uddhav said, “A vote for Modi is vote for destruction. I am sorry I had come here last time appealing to you to make Modi the PM and you listened to me. Now I am telling you, just like you listened to me during the Covid pandemic, that you must keep BJP’s dictatorship at bay.”

Adding that “Modi looted Rs 10,000 crore” through the Electoral bonds, which the Congress did not do in 60 years, Uddhav said “it is the time to get rid of the BJP”.

Stating that Konkan is the heart of Shiv Sena and Thackeray family, he alleged that the BJP tried to break this relationship and it was Shiv Seena that wiped out “Gundaraj” from the region.

The proposed Barsu (refinery complex) and Jaitapur (nuclear power plant) projects are destructive for environment, the former chief minister said adding that if the BJP comes to power again, they would set up the refinery project.

“They assaulted women and farmers in Barsu. If they return to power, they will use force in Barsu and Jaitapur to setup the destructive project without your wish. But I will not let any destructive project come to Konkan. They are out to sell Konkan. We did not even realise when the outsiders came in Barsu and purchased thousands of acres of land,” Uddhav said.

Alleging the BJP had hatred for Maharashtra, Thackeray claimed it wanted to change the Constitution, which was drafted by “son of the soil” Babasaheb Ambedkar.
“Babasaheb Ambedkar, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj were born in Maharashtra. What can we do if Aurangazeb was born in Gujarat,” he asked, linking the Mughal emperor, widely perceived as bigot, to the PM’s home state.
