Epstein Accuser urges release of case files if “nothing to hide”

One of Jeffrey Epstein’s accusers and his colleague Ghislaine Maxwell’s main witness in the sex trafficking trial called on the government to release information about him, especially when “there is nothing to hide.”

She said Annie Farmer was exhausted as she watched President Donald Trump’s recent handling of the case and subsequent opposition from the Maga movement.

She told the BBC in an interview on Monday that her feelings about the case being politicized have been politicized—her abusers have posted very few results throughout the media cycle.

“Some people use it to their strengths and try to focus on sensational elements,” she said.

But that doesn’t mean there is no real crime, Ms. Farmer said.

“Those victims are people who are trying to live the feeling of their daily life, and it feels like real weight.”

Ms. Farmer and her sister Maria presented the earliest reports of abuse by Epstein against the New York Police Department and the FBI in 1996. Maria Farmer is currently suing the federal government for its negligence and failure to protect victims. Over the past few decades, Annie Farmer said her only sense of justice came from the conviction of Epstein’s accomplice Maxwell.

She remains very skeptical of the Trump administration’s handling of the case – refusing to release more information about the case, then saying there are no documents to release, and then seeking public-related grand jury testimony.

“It’s an emotional roller coaster for the participants,” she said, with their hopeful “more information may come.”

Ms. Farmer said she did not believe Trump provides justice for victims given her relationship with Epstein in the 1990s and 2000s.

In response, White House Communications Director Stephen Cheung said Monday that President Trump kicked Epstein out for “crawling” and called the allegations about him “recycling, old fake news.”

The rift between Trump and staunch magazine supporters was triggered by Trump’s early campaign promises “Decryption” information about this case. Other Trump allies have previously called for more information about Epstein.

But the Justice Department recently said there was no evidence that Epstein kept a “customer list.” Attorney General Pam Bondi should release “Everything she thought was credible” And defend the processing of documents. He also questioned the level of interest in the document.

Ms Farmer said those involved in the case knew it was “more complex than the client list” and that some central issues have not been addressed.

She also said she was right Maureen Comi was fired recentlysued Epstein and Maxwell. “I’ve talked to other women involved and I know they’ve shared my emotions and it’s not right at the moment,” she said.

“This is very worrying for us, why is this happening?”

It is unclear why federal prosecutors were removed from office in southern New York, and Ms Comey publicly stated that there was no reason.

Ms Farmer said something inspired her to speak up now. First, she was very upset by the phone calls from the edge to the pardon of Maxwell, so she could talk about the case before Congress.

“It will be extremely problematic and it will be a huge loss for someone like me,” she said.

The second reason is the suicide of Virginia Giuffre, one of Epstein’s most outspoken accusers.

Such losses, she said, have given her energy more energy to better understand where the judicial system collapsed.
