It was a rare moment of friction between Trump and the Speaker, a top ally on Capitol Hill, expecting him to publicly openly against Epstein when the president faces backlash against the Conservative Party, who committed suicide in federal custody in 2019 as he faces allegations of sexual intercourse.
Last week, the Ministry of Justice Announce His death was suicide, and despite the conspiracy theory contrary, his clients did not have a public list and would not disclose further the case. Conservative allies of the president have since criticized him and Attorney General Pam Bondi for their opinion that Trump’s campaign case handled the case opaquely.
“It’s a very subtle subject, but we should put everything there and let people decide,” Johnson told Benny Johnson in an interview posted Tuesday.
“I agree with the emotions we need to put it there.”
Johnson said that speaking of Bundy’s comments on Fox News this year, that Epstein’s list of clients “sitting at my desk for review now,” Johnson said, “She needs to step up and explain that to everyone.
The speaker added: “We need the Justice Department to focus on the main priorities. So let’s address this.”
Earlier in the day, Republicans Vote down Democrats are trying to insert language into legislation, which will require documents related to the Epstein case to be disclosed. But Minority Party is determined to keep the problem alive, Democrats on the House Judiciary Committee Require Its Republican chairman, Ally Jim Jordan, held a hearing with Bondi and his agents and FBI leaders to answer questions about Epstein.
Trump tries to calm his anger Erupted In the conclusions of the Justice Department, on his magazine basis. On the weekend, he wrote the Truth Social article: “Our country was dead a year ago and is now the “hottest” country anywhere in the world. Let’s keep it this way, rather than wasting time and energy on Jeffrey Epstein, people who no one cares about.”
Trump defended Bundy when he left the White House for Pittsburgh earlier Tuesday, but suggested more documents could be found. “She handled it well, it will depend on her. Everything she thinks is trustworthy, she should release it,” he said.
After the newsletter promotion
Bundy was asked about the frustration at Trump’s magazine base in his speech on NBC News on Tuesday, surrounding her department’s frustration in handling the Epstein investigation.
“We will fight to ensure the security of the United States,” she said on another topic. “We fight together as a team. That’s the importance now. We have wars about drugs. We have fought for human trafficking, we have cartels in this country… We have foreign opponents in this world, and we are all going to work together as a team.”
When asked about Trump’s previous words, she should be released Any document she considers “credible”Bondy added:
“Today, our memorandum speaks for itself. We will contact you on anything else. I haven’t seen all of his statements today.”
In an earlier press conference on drug enforcement, Bundy declined to answer questions about Epstein.
“Today is overdose in the whole country, and those who have lost their loved ones are fentanyl,” she said. “That’s the message we’re going to send today. Not Epstein. Don’t want to talk about Epstein.”
