“I was with President Trump a year ago when a lonely gunman tried to assassinate him in Butler, Pennsylvania,” Curran said. “My heart will always be with all the impacts that day, especially Corey Compperatore, who died while protecting those around them.”

“I have maintained my experience on July 13 since President Trump appointed me as Director of the Secret Service and the agency has taken many steps to ensure that such incidents will never repeat in the future,” he continued. “Nothing is more important than the safety and security of our protectors. Pennsylvania Sen. Dave McCormick, who is in the midst of an election cycle, told longtime Democratic Senator Bob Casey that he said in a comment to Fox News Digital that he was just Trump’s feet when gunfires rang.

“When the shooting rang out, I was only 15 feet from the stage where Butler rally. President Trump asked me to come on stage to speak. When I got on stage, he waited until I spoke to the crowd, and I prompted the crowd to speak about my seat.

A moment later, a bullet hit the ear. He fell down and stood up and raised his fist. That moment captured his core (a strong leader) and marked a turning point in the 2024 election. Strong leadership raises the tone. Like President Trump, President Trump is not panicked.

“Why Butler? Why did it fail so much? Why didn’t they pay attention? Why did they think that roof doesn’t need to be covered?” she asked. “I want to sit down and talk to them. I have the right. They need to listen to me.”

McCormick remembers Compperatore as a heroic father and husband who died to protect their family.

“Pennsylvania, volunteer firefighters and father’s Corey Comperatore sat behind me. He passed away. I remember praying for Corey and for the Comperatore family during this anniversary,” the Republican senator said.

I didn’t get out of the car,” Zito said in an interview before the book was released. “There was an inner voice telling me, ‘You have a job to do, keep doing it. ‘”

Zito is located near the stage, and the Secret Service’s security permitter was aware of the gunman fired at Trump and the crowd.

“Time has these levels,” Zito added, reflecting on the 2024 event. “It doesn’t remember them. It’s going through them. It’s an interesting thing that happened. I saw the navy blue suit that immediately surrounded him. Then, I heard the second four shot. I still haven’t gotten out.”

Trump tells Fox Noticias he ‘wanted to hear’ the explanation behind the assassination attempt

McCormick told Fox that recent politically motivated attacks, including targeted attacks by Minnesota lawmakers in June and murders, need to be ended and replaced by civilizations that protect democracy.

“From the attempts toward President Trump’s life, to the arson in Pennsylvania’s governor’s residence, to the murder of Minnesota Rep. Melissa Holtman and her husband, these politically motivated attacks are attacks on democracy itself. Whether for political parties, we must choose the politics of citizens. Said.
