The closed interview with the House Oversight Committee by former White House physician Kevin O’Connor ended less than an hour Wednesday morning with doctors having little new insights.
O’Connor put the Fifth Amendment to his time with former President Joe Biden while sitting down. This leads to a possible hour of deposition.
“I’m going to read the first two questions asked. He begged the Fifth Amendment. He won’t answer the second question.
“Similarly, President Biden’s White House physician mentioned fifth. It’s unprecedented and I think it adds more fuel to the fire.”

The doctor’s lawyer said O’Connor refused to answer on the grounds of the Fifth Amendment, not guilt, but a response to what they believed was unprecedented scope of investigation, which could be a violation of the scope of the patient-physics privilege.
