“Didi” denied bail after being cleared of the worst allegations

The judge denied Sean Diddy’s comb bail after a jury found hip-hop tycoon convicted of a speed tycoon of prostitution, but was not guilty of his worst charges: extortion and sex trafficking.

The record artist’s lawyer argued that he had no risk, noting that his jet was rented in Hawaii.

But Judge Arun Subramanian cited Combs’ history of violence as he ruled the rappers had to remain in prison until he was sentenced to 20 years in prison later this year.

At a nearly two-month federal trial in New York City, prosecutors accused the comb of using its celebrity identity and business empire to conduct criminal businesses toward sexual traffic women.

A team of 12 jurors considered for 13 hours before sentencing three of the five most serious charges.

He will continue to be held in the same federal prison in Brooklyn since September.

The sentencing is scheduled for October 3.

Combs’ attorney Marc Agnifilo is an enthusiastic argument for the judge to release his client.

Defense attorneys said the comb has participated in a program targeting perpetrators of domestic violence in an attempt to reform his behavior, and he has not been violent since 2018 even before he was arrested.

“I just think we should believe him,” Agnefilo said.

But Combs’ ex-girlfriend, musician Casandra Ventura, warned the court in a letter that hip-hop tycoons could pose danger.

The rapper acknowledged domestic violence but denied any non-consensual sex or larger racket plans.

Judge Subramanian said the bail was because “the defense acknowledged violence in his personal relationship.”

The mood in the court was thrilling after jurors declared their innocence comb and sexual trafficking charges as innocence combs.

Both sex trafficking and blackmailing are sentenced to the greatest life sentence in prison.

When Combs learned of the verdict, he kneeled down and placed his face on the chair, as if praying. He was trembling.

The verdict was filed the day after the juror told the court about sexual conduct and transportation to charge prostitution against the comb but could not decide on the charge of extortion.

Jurors said they had “not exaggerated” opinions on both sides about the charges, the most complex opinion of any count faced by the comb.

A conspiracy of extortion, or directing illegal businesses under the Blackmail and Corrupt Organization Act (RICO), is the official name of the allegation.

To convict on this charge, the prosecutor must prove that he uses his loyal staff to operate a criminal enterprise in a network of crimes, including sexual trafficking, kidnapping, drug use and obstruction of justice.

Defense attorneys believe that if members of COMBS employees are overwhelmed, they cannot think the case is being struck.

Prosecutors summoned more than 30 witnesses during the seven-week trial, including Ms. Ventura, rapper Kid Cudi, several former employees and hotel security staff.

They accused Combs relies on employees to push its partners into what is called “freaks” and his girlfriend will have sex with male escorts while he watches and shoots.

The government relies on Ms. Ventura’s testimony, who occupied the witness’s opinion at eight months of pregnancy and told the court The comb made her commit sexual acts and threatened to do if she disobeyed the freak’s tape.

Ms Ventura warned Wednesday that the comb would pose a danger if released on bail.

“Ms. Ventura believes that Mr. Coms may pose a danger to the victims and communities who testify in the case, including herself and the community,” her attorney Douglas Wigdor wrote in a letter to the court.

The center of their case is a video of a rapper beating and dragging Ms. Ventura in a 2016 hotel corridor – a security employee who proved that the comb tried to pay for the deleted surveillance video.

Combs’ lawyers acknowledged their client’s violence against women, but believed his actions were motivated by drugs and jealousy, rather than evidence of larger sexual trafficking and blackmail programs.

The comb also faces dozens of civil lawsuits accusing of sexual assault and violence.

The Harlem-born rapper founded Bad Boys Records in 1993, which represents some of the big names in hip-hop – including the infamous Yamato usher.

He went on to build a clothing line called Sean John, as well as various other businesses including perfumes, alcohol and even media companies.
