Earlier Thursday, the American Meteor Association received multiple reports covering fireballs in various states, including Georgia, South Carolina and Tennessee.
Videos of these state drivers show that flashing lights in the sky quickly spread downwards.
The American Meteor Society says that the meteor or bolide has more than 160 records of witnesses.
