Young Sheldon alum Raegan Revolution Already out Non-binary.

Revord, 17, confirmed their gender identity in an interview Entertainment tonight Published on Friday, August 29.

“It’s so cool because when I grow up, whenever I see celebrities or anyone coming out as non-binary or queer or anything, I like, ‘Oh my god, it’s so cool, I see myself in you,” Revord uses their/their pronouns, he said. “Now, having the experience of that person I am now, maybe having a child, like, ‘Oh my god, it’s so crazy that I see myself in you. That’s so crazy because I’ve been wearing that child’s shoes at some point in my life.”

A few months after fans noticed that Revord changed their preferred pronoun on social media in January.

Revord is known for his role as Missy Cooper Young Sheldon. Since the performance package in May 2024, Revord has published their debut “YA ROM-COM”, called Rules of fake girlfriendson Tuesday, September 2. The book follows Avery Blackwell, who travels to her late mother’s mother in Brighton, England to solve the treasure hunt her mother left for her. She meets a local girl named Charlie, who agrees to help Avery with her hunting — but only if Avery has a fake relationship with her so that Charlie can avoid her ex.

“I’ve always wanted to write something in England. I love this place, there are a lot of amazing ROMs in England com – Love is actually,,,,, Notting Hill,,,,, holiday – I have always loved their aesthetics. ” Revolution told Women’s World.

They continued: “I had an idea about Ailey for a while, but never had a real plot or backstory. The main event was something that started with the entire journey, and that was because I had a friend who told me that she had a potentially serious health issue and I started thinking about how to affect other relationships. That kind of relationship that led to Ailey and her mom.”

Revord also shares what they hope readers will take away from the book.

“I think there are a few things. There are obviously romantic plots, but then there is only Aley’s character arc. At the beginning of the book, she wasn’t the most confident person. She never dated anyone, she wasn’t sure the career path she wanted to follow, she wasn’t sure it was the right move to move to England,” they explained. “There’s a lot of uncertainty. Then, by the end of the book, she’s very confident that she knows what she wants to do and she trusts herself. The message is that you have to give you time.”

Revord added: “When a lot of people feel stuck or uncertain, they try to hurry up and get this answer to come immediately. But, Ailly is just letting it go, it’s hard to do it. I think it’s just giving it time, just believing that the answer will bring you and you can’t rush to catch up with it, and it’s very important.
