Los Angeles Charger Quarterback Justin Herbert As one of the smartest stars in the NFL, he has been busy standing out on the court and off the court.
Herbert, 27, took the sixth overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft and helped the team help playoff spots in 2022 and 2024.
Herbert is a native of Eugene, Oregon, a three-body athlete at Sheldon High School, where he also played basketball and baseball.
When he was in college, Herbert didn’t go far. From 2016 to 2019, he played four seasons at the University of Oregon.
During his senior season, Herbert coached the Ducks to win at the Rose Bowl, where he was also appointed as offensive MVP.

High school leg fracture complicates his recruitment
Herbert broke his leg in the third game of his junior year, causing most prestigious schools to look at him suspiciously.
Despite being appointed to the first team statewide during his senior year, Herbert received only two scholarships from NCAA Level 1 School: Nevada and Oregon.

Herbert eventually worked on Oregon in October 2015, and the rest is history.
“It’s really hard to solve this problem, but I didn’t spend much time thinking,” Herbert said of his legs after announcing his promise. “I focused on coming back. Luckily, I’m back. He set up a fishing club in high school

Herbert was named as the William V. Campbell trophy winner during his senior season in Oregon, and the college football player is awarded annually, showing the best combination of academics, leadership and field performance.

Herbert graduated from the University of Oregon with a degree in science and earned a 4.01 GPA as his senior year, the foundation is known as one of the “best student-athletes in college football history.”
