Jamie-Lynn Sigler Share frankly how her son Beau was affected by the battle with multiple sclerosis (MS).

Sigler, 44, revealed in a “Chaos” podcast on Tuesday, August 26 that her 12-year-old son has a heartbreaking reaction to her mom’s illness after watching the 1994 movie Forrest Gump Together.

“Baby is me. So he cried when I was crying, like, I wasn’t shocked that he would be excited. But when the movie was finished, he kind of buried his head in my chest and just started crying,” the soprano alum explained. “I was like, ‘Oh, buddy. What’s wrong?’ He said, “I hate the pain you suffer.”

Sigrad admits that she “never thought about” her illness before.

“I think I just took it for granted that he only knew my MS, so he just accepted that it was my life,” added Sigler, who was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease at the age of 20. “And I didn’t expect it to be hard for him, it’s his uncertainty and the obvious comparison of his now with a disabled mother to a mother without a disabled one. It’s eye-opening and heartbreaking.”

Sigler added that Beau was a “sympathy” and he knew his condition, but Jack sometimes struggled with it.
