First on Fox: Law enforcement officers in Washington, D.C. have arrested more than 100 people since August 7, and Fox Digital Learns, President Donald Trump has ruined crimes in the city.
White House officials told Fox Digital Officials Wednesday morning that as of August 7, law enforcement officers arrested a total of 103 individuals, including 43 people, as of Wednesday, August 7.
“President Trump’s bold leadership is quickly making our country’s capital safer,” White House spokeswoman Taylor Rogers told Fox Digital. “In less than a week, President Trump has been arrested on the streets of Washington State and has taken away his campaign promises to clean up the city and restore the campaign promises of the United States’ precious capital.”
Trump announced on Monday that he would federally take local police departments under Section 740 of the District of Columbia Housing Rule Act, which allows the president to bear emergency control over the capital police force within 30 days.

Since then, hundreds of National Guard members and federal law enforcement agencies such as the FBI, DEA, the U.S. Capitol Police Department and ATF have joined the country’s federal law enforcement and assisted Trump’s laws, ordering the crackdown and sweeping the city.
The first phase of the crime on Monday led to 23 arrests, FBI Director Kash Patel Revealed on Tuesday X.

“These are just a few examples – we’re just starting out,” Patel continued. “The federal partners joined the local police and arrested a total of 23 people.”
“When you make good policemen a policeman, they can clean up our streets and do it quickly,” he said. “There will be more. Your country’s capital will be safe again.”

Trump has threatened the federal government in recent weeks for a series of high-profile crimes that killed or seriously injured locals and visitors in the city, such as the killing of Tarpinian-Jachym, a fatal shooting of Israeli embassy employees in May, and a brutal attack on the former government unit, earlier in August.
“Our capital was replaced by violent gangs and bloodthirsty criminals, roaming wild youth mobs, drug-addicted lunatics and homeless people,” Trump said Monday. “And we won’t let it happen again. We won’t accept it.”
Democratic lawmakers and local leaders criticized Trump for the move, believing that crime in recent years has been a huge violent crime trend that has shaken cities across the country in 2020.
