A person accused of assisting Bombs in fertility clinics exist California Prison officials said Tuesday they died in federal custody just weeks after their arrest.
Daniel Park, 32, is accused of supplying chemicals to bombers Californiahe exploded on May 17.
Authorities told reporters on Wednesday that the two men had established connections on the Fringe Online Forum due to their shared belief in human reproduction. The explosion burned down a fertility clinic in Palm Springs and shattered windows of nearby buildings, and officials said the attack on terrorism was probably the largest bomb scene ever in Southern California. The clinic was closed and no embryo damage was damaged.
Park, a suburban Seattle, was found unresponsive at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Los Angeles Tuesday morning and was pronounced dead at the hospital, prison officials said. No cause of death was provided.
Authorities said Parker shipped 180 pounds (82 kg) of ammonium nitrate to Butterx in January, bought another 90 pounds (41 kg) and shipped it to him a few days before the explosion. According to federal complaints, Parker purchased ammonium nitrate online in several transactions from October 2022 to May 2025.
The complaint says Parker asked about an AI chat application for explosives, explosion speed, diesel and gasoline mixture three days before visiting him in January. Discussion centers on how to create the most powerful explosion.
Authorities say the park travels to California to try materials in the bomber garage months before the attack.
Parker was detained at John Kennedy Airport in New York after being extradited from Poland, four days after the attack. Park is accused of providing and attempting to provide significant support to terrorists.
