Minneapolis, Minnesota – Commission of Democratic States Chairman Ken Martin is expected to reaffirm his partisan unity as DNC’s annual summer meeting ends on Wednesday.
“We can expect Chairman Martin to emphasize the importance of winning with the United Party laser,” an intellectual source told Fox News.
Martin pushed back as he talked about the party’s disconnection on a range of policy and political issues, highlighting the party’s unity, a series of sweeping and controversial moves by the Democrats against the president Donald Trump Since he returned to the White House seven months ago.
“In our large tent party, we unified a goal to stop Donald Trump and get the country back on track,” Martin said Monday.

According to sources, Martin is expected to focus on the momentum of Democrats participating in the election this fall and will focus on how Democrats “show good or win in 36 of 37 key elections” in their seven months as chairman.
But party leaders and officials at the Minnesota Conference in Martin’s hometown face many problems as they try to escape the political wilderness.
The Democrats aim to rebound after last year’s election, when the party lost control of the White House and the Senate and failed in winning a House majority. and Republicans make profits with voters who form a key part of the Democratic base.
But the situation for Democrats has only worsened within 10 months since last year Election setbacks, According to key indicators.
The Democratic brand is unpopular, especially with young voters, as the party’s poll numbers continue to drop to historic lows in national surveys.
The DNC faces a massive fundraising deficit at the hands of rival Republican National Committee (RNC) and is concerned about lagging party registrations.
Democrats split: tensions in the Gaza war
When Democrats were eager for a more powerful crackdown on Trump’s agenda, Martin targeted the president, arguing that Trump’s actions were “autocrats” and that his second administration was “fascism in red tie.”
Martin noted that Democrats responded strongly to Trump and Republicans this summer, by reassigning more directly tilted U.S. seats in states across the country through the rare midterm congression ahead of next year’s midterm election, saying he was “tired of this Democrat and brought pencils to the knife.”
“We are no longer the only party to play by the rules,” he urged.
The division broke out on Tuesday when Martin and other DNC officials preached solidarity as a key DNC team believed that two resolutions were resolved in the Israeli-Hamas war in Gaza.
The DNC Resolution Committee voted to decide on a symbolic resolution calling for an arms embargo and suspension of Israel, which has been the largest U.S. ally in the Middle East.
DNC Chairman Ken Martin Israel and Hamasin addition to unrestricted access to humanitarian assistance from Gaza civilians, the group adopted unanimously.
But the second stronger resolution was introduced by Allison Minnerly, 26, of Florida, a DNC member, which drew opposition from the panelists.

“That’s not enough,” said DNC committee member of Sophia Danenberg, Washington, D.C. “People want to hear bigger, stronger statements.”
“I’m worried that we don’t have the courage to lose our future as a Democrat on this issue,” Dannenberg stressed.
A few minutes later, after a private conversation between Martin and Minnelli, the DNC chairman asked the committee to “revoke my resolution so that we can have a conversation today with Manchester United.”

The Chairman added: “We need to keep working hard. We have to find a way forward and we have to stay united.”
Martin’s actions were accepted by the committee.
The showdown on the resolution was due to the Democratic support for Israel that had been almost unshakable, shattered in the bloodshed. Many in the party’s progress base have soared concerns about the growing death toll of Palestinians among Palestinians in amid the Gaza famine. Recent polls show that support for Israel’s ongoing military operations in Gaza is plunging among Democrats.
The Resolution Committee passed a series of resolutions, including unanimous approval of resolutions affirming the diversity, equity and inclusion of so-called “American values.” ”The party’s support for DEI is amidst the ruthless conservative opposition to such plans in recent years.
Another resolution unanimously passed the “first six months of condemning the second Trump administration.”
The resolution approved by the panel will face votes by more than 400 DNC members during the closing ceremony on Wednesday.
Later Tuesday, Martin announced that “the presidential calendar process begins today.”

The Chairman announced at a meeting of the DNC Rules and Charter Committee that oversees the party’s presidential nomination calendar: “We are planning to meet throughout the fall and winter, throughout the spring to ensure we have a strict, effective, fair calendar and process.
“We need this process to make us the strongest candidate, a candidate who has passed through victory and is ready to lead the United States forward,” Martin stressed.
DNC officials said they will set rules in the coming months to get states to file cases on why they will be held in the first states in the 2028 cycle, when Democrats hope to win the White House.
The meeting will fight between several states that compete for a lead in the next major calendar, following the DNC, following the wishes of then-President Joe Biden, delaying decades of tradition and bounced over Iowa and New Hampshire, and nominated them for the party’s nominations in the 2024 election cycle.
Biden chose to lead the 2024 calendar, with South Carolina in New Hampshire, Nevada and Iowa likely to hold a kickoff match in the next presidential election cycle.
