“We’re seeing real substantial impact because these guys are destroying their A-,” Vance said Wednesday.

“Just at Union Station, you have homeless people, you have drug users, you have long-term homelessness, you have harassment, threatening violence, harassment that attacks the family,” Vance said. “They have been doing it for a long time. This should be a great monument to America.”

Trump initially mobilized 800 National Guard units as part of his reduction of crime in Washington on August 11. Since then, National Guard forces from Ohio, West Virginia, South Carolina, Louisiana, Mississippi and Tennessee have also been exploited to support the Trump administration.

“This December 5, the 2026 FIFA World Cup draw will be held at the Kennedy Center. Some people call it the Trump-Kennedy Center, but we are not ready to do so – maybe in a week or so,” Trump said.

“But in Washington, D.C., it’s a huge honor to bring global events and these incredible groups of people and these incredible athletes (the best athletes in the world) to the cultural center of our nation’s capital,” Trump said.
