Car crash in Shangzhou New York Law enforcement said passengers were still trapped in wreckage after a tour bus involved in a trip to Niagara Falls.
The tour bus has about 50 passengers on the boat, heading to New York When the famous waterfall was in the city on the U.S.-Canadian border, it hit I-90 between Buffalo and Rochester, close to the Pembroke exit on the interstate.
New York Governor Kathy Hochul called the crash tragedy. Tractor trailers are also involved, and the number of victims has not been confirmed.
New York State Policeman James O’Callaghan said Friday that the visitors were mainly Indian, Chinese and Filipinos, and officials tried to bring interpreters to the scene.
The interstate was blocked, O’Callaghan said there were multiple packages and people were taken to local hospitals. The driver survived.
