After being told she was committing a felony, Dem suddenly made a news call

Rep. Nicole Collier, a Democratic Texas State, had to go with California Gov. Gavin Newsom and others Democratic Party Members After she claimed she was told she committed a felony by attending a meeting in the state capitol bathroom.

Collier spoke on a call with Democratic National Committee Chairman Ken Martin, Newsom and several other members, while the Texas House debated the president-supported redivision bill at the same time Donald Trump.

As Martin spoke for about 30 minutes on the call, Collier suddenly interrupted, “I’m sorry, I have to leave. They said it was a felony for me to do this.”

She continued: “Obviously I can’t be on the floor or in the bathroom.”

“Tell me, I’ll only allow me in the bathroom,” she said to the camera, then returned to the phone and said, “No, hang up, goodbye, I have to go.”

Both news Senator Cory Booker, DN.J., immediately expressed anger at Collier’s sudden departure.

Booker added: “That’s outrageous, let me tell you that Representatives have more dignity in the bathroom than Donald Trump in the Oval Office.”

“You’re going,” Newsom replied, nodding.

“What they were trying to do was to be silent, a silent black woman, and it was outrageous,” Booker continued. “What we just witnessed was that they tried to get her to close and said she was in the bathroom, and on this call, it was the time they were going to pay in Texas.”

It was in the Texas House that dozens of Democrats fled the state and refused to return to the Legislature for two weeks to improve the redistricting bill by breaking the statutory bill. Texas Government Greg Abbott Leaders of other countries have ordered rogue Democrats to be arrested and threatened to remove them from the office if they fail to perform their duties.

After the Democrats returned to the Legislature, members faced enhanced security measures aimed at ensuring that the quorum was maintained.

Democratic lawmakers said Texas Department of Public Safety officials followed them at the state capitol about Monday, either guarding their offices or staying in it, and then delaying them as they leave. They said they had to sign a “permit form” and be monitored to leave the building.

Despite the Democratic standoff, the Texas House finally approved it on Wednesday.

Collier’s office declined to comment, citing that the house is still in a meeting.
