Tulsi Gabbard strips security permits from 37 intelligence officials

Director of National Intelligence (DNI) Tulsi Gabbard Her office on Tuesday cut security clearances from 37 current and former intelligence officials, accusing them of politicizing and manipulating intelligence.

DNI memo issued Monday included names of officials working in the CIA, NSA, the State Department and the National Security Council, including former Obama DNI James Clapper, who Gabbard claimed he told officials to “compromise” normal procedures in a hurry 2017 Intelligence Community Assessment Related to Russia’s influence in the 2016 general election.

“Trust by Security License It’s a privilege, not a right, Gabbard wrote in X’s post. “Those in the intelligence community who betray the Constitution and put their interests above the interests of the American people have broken the sacred trust they promised to maintain…”

The famous officials on the list include: Brett M. Holmgrenformer assistant assistant secretary of intelligence and research; Richard H. Ledgett, former deputy director of the NSA; Stephanie O’Sullivan, former director of the National Intelligence Agency; Luke R. Hartig, former senior director of the National Security Council against terrorism.

Also included in Yael Eisenstat CIA officer White House advisers are known for participating in Facebook’s election integrity campaign.

DNI Gabbard claims “deep state actor” doesn’t want Trump – Russia’s message “sees the light of the day”

Gabbard said the decision was made under the guidance of President Donald Trump.

“Our intelligence community must be committed to upholding the values and principles involved in the U.S. Constitution and maintaining a laser-like focus to ensure our mission to ensure the safety, security and freedom of the American people,” he said. Gabbard wrote On X.

The memorandum states that the revocation takes effect immediately and that officials’ access to confidential systems, facilities, materials and information will be terminated.

The memorandum says that the contract or employment of officials with the government should be terminated and surrendered to security personnel.
