California State Government Gavin Newsom His fellow Democrats are threatening a re-divided plan that will eliminate more than half of the current Republican-led congressional district in a nationwide battle for Gerrymandering.
Republicans currently have nine seats in California compared to the Democratic 43. Proposed plan, The Democrats will have five more seats.
“We firmly believe that this map is in the best interest of California voters, while also trying to oppose the corruption program that takes place in Texas and other Republican-majority countries where Republicans (Republicans) (trading in their DC Party bids) are considering a clear racial gerrymander, Partisan, Partisan party, for the expense of their voters, the Democratic campaign committee (DCCC).
This is probably impossible for Republicans to be under the program.

Rep. Doug Lamalfa’s northern congressional district is currently mainly rural, bringing the advantage of +17 Republican voter registration.
However, under the proposed redistricting plan, it will give Democrats a +10 advantage. This will be achieved by reclassifying much of the northernmost territory of the region.
Rep. Kevin Kiley, District 3

Rep. Kevin Kiley’s third congressional district currently has a +6 Republican advantage through voter registration, but this will move to a +8 Democratic advantage under the new plan.
This is done by stretching the area to include a portion of the deep blue suburb Near Sacramento.
Rep. David Valadao, District 22

Rep. David Valadao is one of the few Republicans in California who is able to win areas that already have a slightly democratic advantage.
But under the new plan, Democrats will get a six-point advantage in the current voter registration game.
Rep. Ken Calvert, District 41

Rep. Ken Calvert’s 41st Congressional District will face a massive swing from Democrats, the Republicans lose their voter registration advantage and Democrats gain a +20 advantage.
Calvert wrote on x: “It is obvious that Californians oppose Gavin Newsom’s power.
Rep. Darrell Issa, District 48

Rep. Darrell Issa’s area will pick up Calvert’s part of the former area in Palm Springs, a dark blue voting area that is expected to swing Issa’s area +4 Democratic advantage.
According to the Cook Political Report, under the 2024 presidential election, Issa’s regional support for Trump +15, but under the new boundaries, it will have +3 +3 +3, while former Vice President Kamala Harris supports it.

Of the five seats affected, Valadao and Issa will become lean areas that may be won by Republican candidates, but others will firmly flip towards Democrats.
