Crush the thief Seattle An estimated $2 million in diamonds, luxury watches, gold and other items made about 90 seconds in the bold midday jewelry store robbery, police said Friday.
Video from the West Seattle Four masked suspects broke the locked glass front door with a hammer and then ransacked six display cabinets on Thursday, surveillance cameras at the store showed.
Police said in a statement that one exhibition’s Rolex watch is worth about $750,000 and another display’s grandmother necklace is worth $125,000.
Police said a masked suspect threatened workers with a bear spray and a stun gun, but no one was injured.

Menashe said workers have finished cleaning up the damaged glass and are working on the full list of losses.
Police said they responded to the robbery, but the suspect had fled a fleeing car and evaded searches in the area.
