Helen Mirren Have a common interest with her Thursday Murder Club supporting role Pierce Brosnan.
“I like gardening a lot. I love swimming in the sea,” the 80-year-old actress told exclusively US Weekly Her debut hobby in New York City Thursday Murder Club Thursday, August 14. “I like to draw a little like my ribs.”
While both Mirren and Brosnan, 72, have an affinity for art, she admits they “never” took their time to actually paint.

Mirren plays a retired spy, Brosnan is a retired union leader, Kingsley is a retired psychiatrist, and Imrie is a retired nurse.

Mirren improves the way in which the film has “a great character”.
“This story obviously has to be united and attract audiences, but without really good characters, it really makes no sense,” she explained.

“Well, I really like it all,” he told us exclusively on Thursday. “If the writing is good, if you feel it emotionally and have a dramatic or humorous soul and background, you’re in company with directors like Chris Columbus and actors like Dame Helen Kingsley, Sir Ben Kingsley, Celia Imrie.
Before the murder of the club on Thursday even in production, director Chris Columbus mocked all four of his stars on his wishlist.
“When I was doing Harry Potter, I wrote a list of all the actors I wanted to play the role – they all said yes. It’s not happening in 20 years. And then again on Thursday’s murder club happened again.” “I wrote down Helen Mirren, Pierce Brosnan, Ben Kingsley, Celia Imrie, and they all said yes. So it’s a game in heaven.”
Columbus added that getting these big names is just part of the puzzle that makes sure his artistic vision come to life.
“You have great actors, great photography and music, and great production design,” he explained. “All of this comes together and we are very focused on details. It’s one of our philosophy. Every little detail matters.”
Thursday’s Murder Club will be held at Selected Theatre on August 22 and then aired on Netflix on August 28.
