Youngkin orders to investigate Fairfax County Schools, allegations of employees abortion

Virginia Glenn YoungkinRepublicans have directed state police to conduct criminal investigations into allegations of staff at a Fairfax County school arranged an abortion without parental consent and potentially use public funds.

Officials at Centerville High School allegedly arranged for an abortion for the girl in 2021, including a 17-year-old child, without notifying her parents.

School administrators may have reportedly known that ongoing employee abortions are occurring and may have used school funds, which may include local, state and federal funds.

“I’m deeply concerned about allegations that Fairfax County public school officials have arranged for minors to have abortions without parents’ consent and may have abused public funds to pay for their expenses,” Youngkin said in a statement Wednesday.

He added: “I directed the Virginia Police Department’s Criminal Investigation Bureau to conduct an immediate comprehensive criminal investigation into the matter.”

Fairfax County Public Schools’ school system said it was investigated after learning about the allegations Centerville High School.

“We have serious questions about these allegations that must be answered,” the FCP said in a statement to Fox News Digital. “None of the circumstances described in these allegations at Fairfax County Public Schools will be accepted in 2021.”

“We have taken immediate action to engage external investigators in fact,” the district added. “We should all know exactly what is going on. We will take appropriate action if necessary.”
