Pelt tells TMZ Wednesday, August 13, what happened! Star was taken to the hospital on August 1, and “urinary tract infection turned into a septic tank.” The publication reported that Spencer also suffered from pneumonia in both lungs. The late actress was fed and taken through the tube in the last few days.

Pelt’s interview with TMZ showed Spencer was “talking and alert” when his family visited her in the hospital last weekend. According to her mom, Spencer went through “code blue” and was transferred to the ICU. Pelt said Spencer died of cardiac arrest and gastric cancer.

He added: “We lost a daughter, sister, family member, actors that are happening, veterinary animal rights supporters and healers, and cancer heroines.”
Spencer’s diagnosis of breast cancer was revealed in 2014 after another health struggle. In 1977, Spencer had a car accident and killed her stepfather. After the accident, paralysis was caused by spinal stenosis.
“By everything I’ve been through with spinal cord injury, I know God is not giving me another pain,” Spencer shared in an interview after the cancer diagnosis. “So, I was so shocked when the doctor told me.”
Spencer said she had “a lot of help and support around me” in the same interview and shared that her treatment was surgery.
“I’m trying to get as much advice as possible, but it does seem like I’m going to do it,” she added. “Hopefully, there won’t be any chemotherapy or radiation involved in it after that.”
Before her death, Spencer married a marketing manager Garry Fields From 1999 to 2013. Spencer married an entrepreneur David L. David 2014.
