Colombian Student: Mandanny ‘terror’ for Jewish Student’

A Jewish student at Columbia University is opposing New York City democratic socialism and mayor Frontrunner Zohran Mamdanitell Fox News Digital that Mamdani’s victory will be “terrifying” for Jewish students in Colombia and the entire city.

Ivy League sophomore TJ Katz sits down with Fox to discuss how Mamdani leads New York City It could affect Columbia and other universities as the 33-year-old councillor and mayoral candidate lead the game.

“For my own beliefs and my own safety on campus, it’s scary,” Katz told Fox. “I don’t think that as an individual who is New York mayor, I’m going to suddenly turn it in 180 degrees, and on the street, I’ll worry about my mayor being who I am to me.”

Katz added: “I’m even more worried about whether he’s taking such a weak approach in condemning hatred, which inspires others to continue doing horrible things.”

Jewish students and young Jewish voters across the country also turned to the Republican Party, as candidates like Mandani were recognized by long-time Democratic senators such as Elizabeth Warren. When a Fox News reporter asked If a socialist candidate like Mamdani is the future of the Democratic Party, Warren replied “You bet.”

FBI investigates “horrible anti-Semitism” by Americans serving in the Israeli army

“I think there is no doubt that the liberal young Jewish voters have always been among the most conservatives, and everyone feels the shift,” Katz told Fox.

Katz added: “If one government will actually put it in a pudding to another government and show that they are going to come out, they will make sure that Jewish students on campus, Jews in every aspect of their life feel safe, that is undoubtedly where Jewish voters are going to turn.”

Fox News Digital contacted Mamdani but did not receive a timely response from the publication.
