President Donald Trump lashes out at Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer On Wednesday, lawmakers accused of serving Trump’s nominee in the Senate.

“Political Senator Cryin’Chuck Schumer wants Republicans to extort $2 billion by blackmail to get radical left Democrats to approve hundreds of Trump appointments that have been waiting for months and are going in small quantities,” Trump wrote.
“This has never happened. There has never been such a delay in American history. They are ransomware! Republicans have to make legislation to get rid of the mastery of these thugs who hate these hatreds. Action quickly!” he added.

Legislators left Washington on Monday without a deal, deeply frustrating Republicans with Schumer and Senate Democrats for their unprecedented words and actions to every Trump nominee. Only Secretary of State Marco Rubio has been smoothly confirmed.
Schumer and Democrats demanded that Trump release billions of dollars in funding for the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and foreign aid, a statement by Trump about $2 billion “ratiocracy.”

“I think they need change in a desperate situation,” Senate Majority Leader John ThuneRs.D., told reporters Tuesday. “I think the past six months have proved the process and the nominations are broken. So, I hope there will be some good conversations about it.”
