Spanberger continued to highlight her national security certificate during the campaign while accepting PIN’s $50,000 campaign donations.

“At the CIA, she has a mission: protecting and serving the United States of America,” her campaign website noted. “She has identified threats to national security in secret training, preventing terrorist attacks, stopping the spread of nuclear weapons, and tracking transnational criminal networks.”

Legislators from both sides have long been concerned about the Chinese government’s use of educational exchanges, research partnerships and business investments in the United States as coverage of espionage. These warnings have intensified in recent years with the review of Beijing’s influence on U.S. soil.

A spokesperson for the Winsome Earle-Sears campaign told Fox News that Spanberger “re-enjoys international interests.”

“Take $50,000 from people with clear Chinese Communist Party ties and tell us everything we need to know,” the spokesperson said. “You can’t claim to take on foreign threats while making money from people celebrating the CCP.”

PIN NI has a long history of political donations to Democratic and Republican candidates nationwide, according to the Federal Election Commission’s campaign financial records. His contributions cover multiple election cycles, including candidates at the state and federal levels. In October 2024, the PIN was donated to the Republican National Committee and donated to the “Purpose PAC” of Sen. Cory Booker, Democratic New Jersey.
