Erik Menendez returns to jail after hospitalization due to medical problems

She added: “We thank everyone for their good wishes and prayers. The complications occur during the surgery, but it was a very stressful moment for us. In addition, we thank CRT custody and medical staff for their best efforts in this difficult situation.”

On July 22, Erik and his brother Lyle Menéndez’s lawyers Mark Geragostelling TMZ that Erik is experiencing an emergency, although he did not further elaborate on the exact situation of Erik.

Erik and Lyle will be Parole Board at a two-day hearing August 21-22.
