A source familiar with the conversation told Fox News Numbers that a long-time ally of former President Joe Biden told the House Oversight Committee investigators that he could get a $8 million salary if the former president wins his 2024 reelection bid.
Michael Donilon He served as senior adviser to the president throughout his four-year tenure. However, their relationship can be traced back several decades. Donilon first served as the U.S. Senator for Delaware in 1981.

“I have been with President Joe Biden from the first day of my tenure to the last day. I saw a leader day after day who was deeply involved in key issues at home and abroad,” Doniron said in a statement.
“Every president has age in four years of presidential age, and President Biden does the same, but he continues to become stronger and stronger as a leader due to some of the most difficult challenges faced by any president.
“I think this experience is very valuable to the country. I think President Biden is the best person to lead the country on the day he was sworn in, and I continue to believe he is president every day.”
Donilon is the eighth former rival White House official, chaired by House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer R-ky.
