A New York City policeman was one of four people killed in the muzzle of a high-rise Manhattan Midtown.
Police said the gunman walked into the office building clearly with a gentleman’s rifle on Monday night and then sprayed bullets in the lobby and upper floors. Then, he committed suicide.
The shootings – in the center of the most populous American city – sent pedestrians to campaign cover when an active gunman was warned about ET in 1830. The gunshots inside the building shrank as the gunshots echoed – some even hid in office doors, even stacked chairs on them.
Police said the suspect Shane Devon Tamura, 27, traveled from Las Vegas, but the motive is not yet known.
New York City official Didarul Islam has a murdered person who worked on the building when the attack occurred. The other three victims have not been determined.
New York City Police Commissioner Jessica Tisch said the suspect entered the building at 345 Park Avenue, which houses businesses including the National Football League (NFL) and investment management company Blackstone and opened fire immediately.
He fatally shot Mr. Islam’s hall and aimed at a woman hiding behind the pillar. He walked through the hall, “squirted” with gunfire, and hit multiple people – including security guards hiding behind the table and another man nearby.

Tichi said a woman walked down while he was waiting for the elevator, but the gunman asked her to forgive her and let her pass.
She added at a press conference Monday night that he headed to the 33rd floor – where Ruden Building Management is – fired again – kill a person and then walked along the corridor and shot in the chest.
Authorities are uncertain about the motivation, although Ticy noted that the gunman had “recorded his mental health history.”
Tamura has traveled from Las Vegas to the East Coast over the past few days and parked in Colorado, Nebraska, Iowa and New Jersey. He arrived in New York shortly before the shooting. It is not clear whether he has any connections with New York, buildings or Luden building management.
Police searched the suspect’s BMW, who double-marked the front and found the strumming and revolver of multiple magazines. The vehicle is registered in Nevada, and Tamura is the registered gun owner in the state.

Local officials and authorities celebrated the Islamic instructor on Monday night. “He died in life – a hero,” Ms. Tisch said.
The Islamic instructor was an officer in the department for three years and was an immigrant from Bangladesh. He and his wife have two children, who are currently pregnant with their third child.
“He is doing the work we want him to do,” Ms. Tisch said. “He made the ultimate sacrifice.”
The incident has stalled parts of Midtown Manhattan and public transportation. A BBC reporter at the scene reported seeing dozens of police cars, at least one person with bleeding from the chest was taken away on a stretcher.
Bystanders reported that sounded like gunfire and police told people in the area, including BBC reporters, to shelter in nearby buildings.
Police work on building by building to clean up the buildings, which takes hours.
At the time of the incident, mom Bouhenni worked at a nearby Sip & Scoop coffee shop, told the BBC that she had seen dozens of people from surrounding buildings being evacuated.
They held the top of their heads, she said.
Ms Bouhenni said she recognized many of them as clients. “It’s so scary for them and I hope they can come home safely.”
