The threat of additional rainfall has led to various flash flood warnings in central Texas. Last weekend, several motorists were rescued after driving into high water.
The National Weather Service predicts thunderstorms that can produce “excessive rainfall and potential flooding.” The warning prompted Kerr County officials to ask rescuers to stop searching operations in order to victims of deadly floods that occurred a week ago in rural Texas Hills.
At least 132 people were killed and dozens were still missing.
