Sesame Workshop, a nonprofit that develops children’s plans, said the “unknown hacker” has gained access to the account.
“Elmo’s X account was damaged by an unknown hacker who posted disgusting information, including anti-Semitism and racist posts,” a spokesperson said.
“We are working to restore full control of this account.”
