Hawley introduces bill banning CCP from buying American farmland and houses

While the bill would impose a unified ban on farmland purchased in connection with the relevant purchase, the ban on residential purchases only applies for two years and the president can choose once, in addition to this, the ban on ban every two years.

“For them, agricultural land and our farms, because they are former inheritances, are weapons against us,” she continued. “We see it again and again, from the acquisition of American farmland by Chinese communism to the criminal exploitation of our agricultural system, to theft of operating information needed for working land and beyond. All of this takes profound benefits and turns it to evil purposes.”
