The U.S. Department of Justice did not find Jeffrey Epstein’s “customer list”

The U.S. Department of Justice and the FBI concluded that sex offender Jeffrey Epstein had no so-called client list, possibly suggesting a high-profile colleague who did take his life away – contradicting the long-standing conspiracy theory about the infamous case.

During last year’s campaign, President Donald Trump promised to release documents related to the shameful financiers.

But since he returned to the office in January, some of his supporters have been frustrated by the government’s handling of the case and the failure to provide new revelations.

The issue reappeared in a public fight between Trump and his former adviser Elon Musk.

Epstein, who awaits trial on sex trafficking charges, died in a New York prison cell in 2019. His death comes more than a decade after he was registered as a sex offender for a minor.

According to a two-page Department of Justice (DOJ) and FBI memo, investigators found no “list of charges” and “no reliable evidence” for clients because Epstein blackmailed outstanding people.

Investigators also released videos they said they supported the conclusion of medical examiners that Epstein died of suicide while being held at the Metropolitan Correctional Center in New York.

Some conspiracy theorists suggested that Epstein was murdered to stop him from involving government officials, celebrities and other business tycoons involved in the crime.

FBI Director Kash Patel and his deputy Dan Bongino have previously questioned official narratives about Epstein’s death – although both admitted Epstein had taken his own life since joining the Trump administration.

The memo added that investigators “have found no evidence that could prove the investigation of an uncharged third party”.

The memo met some of Trump’s supporters, whose movement to make America great again (Maga) is incredible.

In an article on X, right-wing commentator Rogan O’Handley called it a “shameful cover-up to protect the most outrageous elite.”

Some claim that the conclusions in the memo contradicted Attorney General Pam Bondi in a Fox News interview that aired in February.

“The Justice Department may release the list of Jeffrey Epstein clients, will this really happen?” Bundy was asked on Fox, and she replied: “Now is sitting at my desk for review.”

White House spokesman Karoline Leavitt said Monday that the attorney general was referring to all documents related to Epstein’s crimes, rather than a specific list.

Some of Trump’s conservative supporters have been frustrated by the administration’s handling of the disclosure of Epstein’s archives, especially after Bondy released a series of case documents that have been publicly available.

“This is not what we or the American people ask for, and it is totally disappointed,” conservative congressman Anna Paulina Luna wrote on X at the time. “Get the information we want to ask for.”

After the disclosure, Bondy accused federal investigators of withholding thousands of documents related to the case.

Recently, she told White House reporters that the FBI is reviewing “thousands of children or child porn videos of Epstein”, although she did not provide more details.

The White House said on Monday that some documents related to Epstein were denied due to its “incredible graphic” nature.

In late April, Trump was asked when he would release new information about the case.

Trump replied: “I don’t know. I’ll talk to the Attorney General.” “I really don’t know.”

Debate about the Epstein case broke out again last month – In a public fight with the president, tech billionaire Musk claimed there was no evidence that Trump appeared in unissued government files related to late sex offenders.
