White House Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis encouraged Republican countries across the country to follow Florida’s leading position and install their own version of “Alligator Alcatraz,” a remote detention facility for illegal immigrants in the heart of the Everglades.
Some red states are already heating up the idea, or have new detention centers in it.
“We don’t have crocodiles, but we have a lot of bears. I don’t know there are any plans for Alaska version of the crocodile crocodile Taras,” a representative for the Alaska government told Fox News’s Laura Ingraham on Tuesday.

Fox News Digital contacted the offices of 26 Republican governors to ask if they were considering launching their own version of the “Crocodile Alcatraz” version and extending from Idaho to South Carolina, responding with their work.
Garrison Douglas, a spokesman for Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp, told Fox News Digital that Peach State “helps lead the way to resolve illegal immigration” and recently announced plans to build “the largest detention facility in the United States.”

In Idaho, Gov. Brad Little “plans to release new details on Idaho’s efforts to support Trump’s presidential agenda,” according to his office.

Noem warns immigrants during Trump visit
