Real Madrid dated Paris Saint-Germain in the club’s World Cup semifinal, despite the last 10 minutes of chaos, which gave Kylian Mbappé the chance to face his front side on a big stage after his outstanding acrobatic goal 3-2 beat 3-2 Dortmund Boron.

Xabi Alonso’s Madrid was completely in control for the vast majority of the game until the startling down time made things tense, while Thibaut Courtois’s final Gasp Save retained the victory. It was an incredible conclusion to a other pedestrian match, including a late red card from Real Madrid’s Dean Huijsen, an impressive new arrival to the central defense, who will miss the semifinals thanks to the third time at Mbappé’s excellent Valli’s excellent Real Madrid.

Real Madrid dominated the game for much of the game, with Gonzalo García opening up the scoring for his impressive fourth goal and left-back Fran García (no relation), his first in 52 games this season.

But while the final stage may be the most memorable period of the game, for any of the 76,611, filling the MetLife Stadium to 93% of its listing capacity, it is Garcias’ contribution and Real Madrid’s overall match in the first 90 minutes that best represent the Spanish giant’s appearance in the following seasons.

Bayer Leverkusen took over the club and he had been following his disappointing final season in Carlo Ancelotti Club World Cup It started in just two weeks. A major independent tournament held began shortly after the new manager appointment was far from abnormal, but Alonso’s intentions were clear.

“I think there are two reasons for this opportunity,” he said. “One, because it means we can speed up the process, get to know each other early, see what we want to be. Then, it’s an opportunity to fight for another trophy… If we can put those two things together, it can be a good start.”

It’s a good start indeed. On Saturday, as they have throughout the game, Alonso’s Real Madrid seamlessly blends young players who seem ready to get into the elite, whose contributions contribute to a real victory, a chance to win the trophy in the club’s World Cup final.

The goal came from two players representing youth development roles who could still play stars in Madrid’s team. Both are college products, and both create dangers throughout the competition, except for the goal.

Meanwhile, the assists seem to indicate the Spanish giants’ life plan after working on Luka Modric. Arda Guler, 20, is once again outstanding, providing an assist for Gonzalo García’s opener and usually bothered with the timid Dortmund’s timid defender throughout 90 minutes. Along the back line, Huijsen effectively controlled the lawsuit behind the glorious Aurélien Tchouaméni, defensive midfielder. The couple, along with Huijsen’s partner in the central defense, blocked Dortmund’s threat, at least before Huijsen’s red card and the madness around him.

These quiet performances remind me of what Alonso could achieve during his time in charge of Bayer Leverkusen. But it’s still true Madrid, and there are still big stars who can improvise and create extraordinary things. As usual, Vinícius Júnior proved good at some of these moments, at one point, trying over 30 codes of bold chips, which, despite this, are still high and wide.

Then, of course, there is Mbappé. The French superstar is still finding his feet after a hospital with gastroenteritis, and the disease reportedly weighs him at 5 kg, probably a few days of training and syncs with his new manager and teammates. With a mild increase, though, Mbappé offers the game’s signature moment in a memorable downtime, hanging in the air, kicking to the cross with close side scissors, kicking from close range, driving past Dortmund goalkeeper Gregor Kobel, Gregor Kobel, and entering the network and bringing into the crowd of close-range competent people.

Now, Mbappé hopes to be totally healthy, conceivably, he will break Alonso’s goal at the same location on Wednesday begging for the title semifinals, his first chance to face a team with him becoming a World Cup champion and global superstar.

After introducing the new allegations, Alonso set out to “see what we want to be” and “win trophy” as his goals. “If we could put those two things together, it would be a great start,” he said.

This good start is now just another big final victory Los Merengues.
