Outstanding Democrats From July 4th, the message of doom and melancholy rather than celebration has been conveyed, aroused anger from numerous critics. Many messages include warnings of putative threats to the country issued by the Trump administration.
“On July 4, I took a little time to reflect. It’s hard right now. They may get worse,” former Vice President Kamala Harris wrote in an article on X. “But I love our country – when you love something, you fight for it. We will continue to fight for the ideals of our country.”
Many social media users are quick to point out that Harris has cropped former President Joe Biden and former First Lady Jill Biden from the photos. Others mocked her with Harris’ famous phrase, saying that the country was “unburdened by the past.”

Harris’s old boss, former President Joe Biden, has released a more modest message, while also encouraging Americans to “fight” democracy.
