Charlie Kirk’s faith-driven legacy will last after Utah assassination

Charlie KirkHis long-time pastor and friends told Fox News Digital that his legacy was rooted in his deep dedication to Christ that would not be erased after his tragic assassination to Utah.

“His message will not be stopped, his testimony will not be eliminated. His memory will be advocated. We encourage every patriot to be preached to make their voices opposed to the dark currents, trying to destroy our fragile republic, and our Creator’s specific gift in these United States has given us the Manhattan Church of our Manhattan Church.

Engelhardt first met with Kirk through his wife Erika Kirk when he sat on the TPUSA board, living in New York City and attending his church. The pastor said Erika relayed her to meet someone and intended to move to Phoenix before the pandemic – “Someone turned out to be Charlie Kirk.”

“About a year later, in the summer of 2020, when it feel like all hell was being unleashed in New York, Erika reached out to us to see how we were and said she wanted to put me in contact with Charlie … And that’s how I met Charlie in 2020 during all of the BLM and COVID and all that kind of stuff. And Charlie, you know, was one of the people that specifically encouraged me to go back to New York and open my church,” he narrates.

He said that despite the city’s strict lockdown measures that allowed residents to shelter in apartments and houses, King’s Church was the first church to reopen in Manhattan.

Engelhardt and Kirk have been close friends over the past five years, and the pastor explained that he watched him “growing up as a father, becoming an incredible husband and sharing his faith with many.”

Kirk’s long-time pastor, Rob McCoy, co-chair of TPUSA Faith, told Fox Digital that “evil is not competent” for his friend “coward”.

“His life will be remembered for many wonderful things. He built everything with the power of spoken words. He never used violence, but was threatened every day by those who could not compete with logic and truth, and now they have done what evil always does to my friends; it took life; it took life away.”

However, Charlie did not die, but he began to live truly. His Savior Jesus Christ ensured his life. This truth allows Charlie to face every threat with courage because he is not afraid of death. All evil knows death, and they have power for death. McCoy continued.

Kirk leaves behind his wife whom he married in 2021, as well as their 3-year-old daughter and a 1-year-old son.

Kirk joined the podcast a few months before his assassination and said he wanted to be remembered for my faith.

“Charlie’s faith is real because you can see it manifested in action. We know in James’ book that faith without work is dead. Charlie is not a person who just says he is Christian. He acted, he worked, he raised the children and told them about the Lord. “His wife is an incredible Christian, her Biblein365 application, and her life mission is to make more people read the Bible.”

Kirk’s Assassin As of Thursday morning, the FBI, ATF, Utah Department of Public Safety, and local police departments are still very large.

“The combination of truth, logic and faith, and the things that make him so effective. So, I think Charlie is a champion of family, lifelong, growing up, having a lot of kids. I think that’s all the core part of his legacy, which will be championed by the next generation,” Engelhart said of Kirk’s lasting legacy.
