Congressional gold medal resolution proposes assassinated Charlie Kirk

Exclusive: Andy Ogles, R-Tenn’s representative, is introducing a resolution to provide Charlie Kirk A post-death Congress gold medal, which Congress can award the highest award to civilians after the assassination on Wednesday.

Kirk, 31, was assassinated during an outdoor activity at Utah Valley University, and the suspect is still underway for a major hunt.

He is an idol of the conservative movement, known primarily for the founding of USA, a campaign known for helping Engolden Generation Z and millennial conservative activists. Kirk, a close ally of President Donald Trump, is well known in the political climate, and it is a very influential voice.

“Charlie Kirk is indeed an American hero. He is an embodiment of the ideals built by our nation. A devout Christian, a beloved husband, a cordial father to his daughter and son, Charlie lives a life dedicated to upholding and protecting faith, family and freedom, and engages and openly conversations through anyone willing to interact with him.”

“The life of assassinating him at the hands of terrorists fell into a terrorist defeat, but his legacy will continue. I introduced a resolution to honor him with a Congressional gold medal, a small note and recognition of the incredible work he has done throughout his life.

According to the draft resolution of Fox News Digital, two medals will be created – one medal, another for his family, another for Smithsonian Institution Used for “Show and Save”.

The draft text adds that Kirk has undeniable love for his country and has inspired an entire generation of young people to boldly protect and defend the principles of the founding of the United States. ”

On Thursday morning, at a commemoration ceremony on 9/11 PentagonPresident Donald Trump announced that Kirk will receive the Presidential Medal of Freedom after his death.

“Charlie is a giant of his generation, a freelance champion, and an inspiration for millions of people,” he said. “Our prayers are with his wonderful wife Erika and his beautiful children.”

After Wednesday’s assassination, contributions were poured into Kirk, and many condemned the outrageous act of political violence.
