MSNBC fires senior political analyst Matthew Dowd after proposing to kill conservative activists in the air Charlie KirkHis own radical remarks may have led to the shooting that killed him.
When Dowd appeared in Katy Tur’s report, he suggested that Kirk’s remarks might have contributed to the violence that claimed life. Kirk, 31, has a history of right-wing provocation Christian nationalismand often advocates stubborn remarks about Islam, female ,,,,, LGBTQ+ Community and People of color.
Moral says: “The thoughts of hatred lead to hateful words, which lead to hateful actions,” he adds: “You can’t stop these terrible thoughts and say these terrible words and then do not expect to take terrible actions.”
Moral also speculates about the shooting: “We don’t know if this is for the supporters of celebration, and we don’t know anything about it.”
The network apologized and announced the moral dismissal, which came shortly after Kirk was shot dead during a Q&A session at Utah University in Utah, where he undertook a nationwide campus debate tour. MSNBC President Rebecca Kutler called moral comments “inappropriate, insensitive and unacceptable” in a statement to social media.
“We apologize for his statement,” Kutler wrote. “In the United States, where there is no violence in politics or otherwise.”
The network is almost immediately intermittent with morality (Dowd), and the deadline report says MSNBC The relationship with analysts cuts the justification for “the remarks he made after the shooting.”
Morality (Dowd) served as the chief strategist for George W. Bush’s 2004 presidential election and was a political analyst for ABC News, and he made his apology after the controversy.

Kirk, co-founder of the American Turnaround Point and an outstanding figure in conservative youth politics, was considered deadly in the neck during a Wednesday afternoon campus event and was circulated on multiple cross-social media around his neck for strengthening the Maga youth voting during the 2024 election.
Federal authorities are investigating the shooting, with two interested individuals initially detained before being released. Both were temporarily detained but acquitted and the suspect remained large.
The murders have sparked sharp criticism throughout the political field.
