Tim Curry Reflecting Rock horror picture show On the 50th anniversary of the film.
Curry, 79, discusses the 1975 classic film and its role as Dr. Frank-N-Furter, where he originated fearStage production from 1973, on rare appearance CBS Sunday morning On Sunday, September 7.
“He’s a tough guy,” Curry said of his character when he was paralyzed by a stroke in 2012. “He expects the world to roam around him.”
Curry added: “I have people who left [the film] I thought they would say what they always wanted to say and do. ”
Rock horror picture show is a musical comedy horror movie that follows young couple BradBarry Bostwick) and Janet (Susan Sarandon) When their cars approach the tires near the castle in the middle of the storm. They sought help from the residents of the castle, including its exotic “Transvestite” owner Dr. Frank-n-Furter and his creator Rocky (Rocky (Peter Sheinwood).
When asked if the movie allows fans to be their true identities, Curry said, “I think that’s the case.” However, it wasn’t first received good reviews.
“[The film] die. This is a failure. I was crushed…I think that might be [the end of my movie career]. But I’m more difficult than that. ” he continued.

After his breakthrough movie role fearCurry continues to star in other famous films in 1982 Annie1985 clue and 1996 Muppet Treasure Island. He’s still here Wild thorns (1998–2004) and Palpatine Star Wars: Clone Wars (2012–2014).
Curry has used a wheelchair since he suffered a stroke, so his career has mostly been sound performances. However, he appeared in his first feature-length movie role in 2024 in 14 years stream.
Curry also continued to be a singer and appeared at a fan conference. He participated in the documentary Strange Journey: The Story of Rocky Horrorhe talked about the work of the Rock Horror Stage.
