BBC News, in New York Court

The shameful hip-hop tycoon kneels on his knees and buries his head in the chair at the defense table, where he has just spent two months conducting sexual trafficking and blackmailing.
Twelve New York jurors gathered in a boarded room at 10:00 on Wednesday to tell Sean “Didy” that they found he had not committed a crime in the business’s sex dealings with his loyal employees and trafficking his ex-girlfriend.
They did find him guilty of the least serious charge of transporting people into prostitution. The comb buried his face in his hands as they confirmed their decision.
A series of small celebrations followed, and Combs has been in a federal prison in Brooklyn since September. He prayed to the jury with his hands, then turned around and made the same gesture to his family – twin daughters, sons and 85-year-old mother.
He seemed to be whispering: “I’m going home.”
For many of the comb’s lawyers, including Teny Geragos, the moment seemed equally touching, sitting next to him and wiping tears with a tissue after reading the verdict.
Combs’ lawyers did not waste any time telling the judge that the judgment reached after about two days of deliberation meant that the comb should be able to step out of a free man from the Manhattan court.
His attorney, Marc Agnifilo, told the court that his most serious allegations of crime meant he no longer needed to be sentenced to jail, adding that his client’s plane was inaccessible – rented and on Maui.
“This jury gave Mr. Coms the life,” he said. “He would not impose anything on him on this court.”

Then, in the most exciting gesture of the day in the comb, he seemed to express his gratitude by pressing his head against the chair on the defense table.
He stood up from his seat, applauded loudly, and hugged several lawyers. Many family members and supporters in the main court and a crowded spillroom joined him in cheers.
His lawyer then hugged his lawyer and waved to his family, blocked by a large number of people and court benches – he was escorted out of court. He is still in custody during the bail hearing.
