Voters in New England’s most populous city voted in mayoral elections on Tuesday Immigration and Customs Enforcement (Ice) Massachusetts.
The vote was because Boston’s Democratic mayor Michelle Wu, who is seeking a second four-year term, is opposing federal immigration enforcement in the city.

The statement said: “Towards the goal declares: “Sanctuary policies like Mayor Wu promote not only attract and harbor criminals, but also place these public safety threats above the interests of law-abiding American citizens. Ice arrested sex offenders, pedophiles, murderers, murderers, drug dealers, and gang members released by local authorities. ”

“Legally, they are wrong, and in terms of security,” Wu alleged. “That’s why Boston has been the target. Boston will continue to uphold the clear separation of the Boston Trust Act, our state laws, and our local officials and our municipal governments in the massive eviction efforts this federal government is trying to promote.”
“For months, ICE has refused to provide any information about its activities in Boston and refused to issue warrants, while we have heard reports of ice agents sending parents to school. This does not make our community safer.”

The latest confrontation comes as the Justice Department prosecuted Boston City officials, including the mayor, allegedly interfered in the immigration crackdown.
