Democrats in Congress have issued a note saying U.S. President Donald Trump sent Jeffrey Epstein for his 50th birthday.
Epstein Property’s attorney sent the documents to the House Oversight Committee after being summoned earlier this year.
Then, Democratic members of the committee posted the letter on X on Monday.
This comes after the Wall Street Journal released details of the notes in July. Trump said it was “fake stuff” and denied writing it.
“These are not my words, not my way of speaking. And, I don’t draw pictures,” he said.
The signature notes say: “Happy birthday – May the day be another wonderful secret.”
The commission issued a legal subpoena last month to the executor of Epstein’s property to produce a number of documents, including a birthday book containing alleged notes from Trump.
Trump filed lawsuits against journalists, publishers and executives of the Wall Street Journal, including News Corp. owner Rupert Murdoch after the summer story was published.
Dow Jones, the newspaper publisher, said it “has full of confidence in the rigor and accuracy of our reports.”
