In a similar ruling in May, the court said the Constitution provided a wide range of latitudes for fire government officials representing executive powers.
The administration has repeatedly asked judges to implement Trump policies that are hindered by lower courts this year. The Supreme Court has a 6-3 Conservative majority, in almost all cases, in almost all cases since Trump returned to the presidency in January.
