Lady Gaga, Ariana Grande and Sabrina Carpenter are the biggest winners of the MTV Video Music Awards (VMA), and on Sunday night, a well-known female artist at New York’s Ubs Arena.
Gaga won four awards that night, including Artist of the Year, Fighting against Taylor Swift, Beyoncé, Bad Bunny and Kendrick Lamar, who all missed the slightly silent event this year.
She dedicated the award to her fiancé Michael Polansky and also awarded her fans the “Little Monster”.
Grand and the Carpenter each won three awards. The former won the best video award of the night for a great day, while the latter runs include a new gong for Best Pop Artist.

The ceremony was hosted by a largely off-screen LL J, who had only seven awards on the television broadcast.
Here are five great moments and conversation points from the three-hour Long Island exhibition, and over the past 12 months, it’s the best in the music video media.
1.

Gaga became the most famous artist of the night and participated in the show with 12 nods, bringing her four “Moon Man” trophy home, bringing her career to 22.
This put her in third place, ahead of Madonna and behind Swift and Beyoncé, each with 30.
On winning the Artist of the Year Award, she said: “I can’t start telling you what this means to me.
“Being an artist is an attempt to connect the souls of people around the world.”
After collecting the awards, she left the arena, but the MTV camera later followed her through the city to perform live concerts at Madison Square Garden, where she performed Abracadabra and Dead Dance.
Tim Burton directed the Gothic music video for the latter song, which also appeared on the soundtrack of the new Netflix Addams Family Show, where Gaga also guested on Wednesday.
She also won Abracadabra’s Best Direction and Art Direction Award, and Best Collaboration on the Song Die, which smiles with Bruno Mars.
Another Mars collaboration, his song APT with Rosé won song of the year, while her Korean gear Blackpink was named the best group.
“It’s a very important moment for me, at 16, and for others whose dreams are accepted for their hard work,” Emotional Rose said during a long speech.
2. Sabrina stands (and dances) with trans people

Carpenter’s Short N’Sweet is Album of the Year, and she was named the first Best Pop Singer of the Year and won Manchild’s Visual Effects Award.
She delivered a tear-themed performance with the Drama Queen and trans dancers, holding signs that marked the reading “trans We Trust” and “Protect Dolls.”
Grande captured this year’s video, long-term video and best pop video awards to welcome the days to come, thanking her father for her cameo.
“This project is about hard work, healing all kinds of trauma, returning to our young selves and building safety in our own lives, is a lifelong process and daily exercise,” she said in her acceptance speech.
“If you are on the road, keep moving forward because I promise a brighter future.”
Another American singer, Megan Moroney, became the first winner in the Best National Category of Her Singles, How Am I?
3. Maria: Maximum respect (with minimal effort?)

Meanwhile, Mariah Carey won the Lifetime Achievement Award on the Night of the Famous Female Artist.
Diva won the first victory in the R&B section before winning the Special Video Vanguard Award.
“This is great, MTV, I don’t know why it took so long!” She joked in a video message before the show later.
The fantasy singer then sang her hit song online asshole: “I love Mariah Carey’s voice, but on Sunday night she’s less energy than me.”
Another fan commented that when she was “minimum”, she was still ” [being] Iconic”.
The singer proposed that music videos “is my lifestyle, bringing music into my own life.”
She continued: “Honestly, sometimes they just take excuses for drama and do things I wouldn’t do in real life. Music evolves, but it’s fun? That’s timeless.”
Doechii won doubles, won hip-hop awards and best anxiety choreography, and Tate McRae also won best anxiety for the summer’s best editing and songs and continued to watch the F1 movie.
Shakira won the Latin Award for her song Soltera, while South African star Tyla won the Best Afrobeats Award.
4. Ricky rolled back for a few years

In the evening, there were live performances from McCrae (Doja Cat) and J Balvin among others, along with Best New Artist Alex Warren and the multinational women’s group Katseye, who won the performance of the year.
But Latin idol champion Ricky Martin shows that he can still live with the best of them, performing his hits.
Martin, who accepted the award from Jessica Simpson, said: “We just want to break the boundaries, we just want to keep the music alive.”
He attributes his 40-year career to his fans: “It’s simple: it’s for everyone,” he said. “I am addicted to your applause, which is why I keep coming back.”
53-year-old fellow rapper Busta Rhymes also performed repertoire on stage, including Break Ya Neck and Gimme winning the Rock Bell Awards one night.
Elsewhere in the evening, next to the jelly rolls, Malone was shown in Germany.
5. Oz remember

Last but not least, the night remembers the former Black Sabbath frontman Ozzy Osbourne who died in July and introduced a show through video messages from his son Jack and his children.
Nude British star Yungblud joined Aerosmith’s Steven Tyler and Joe Perry among others to perform tracks of Osbourne’s career, including Crazy Train, Change, Change and Mama, I’m going home.
Mercedes Hellraisers Coldplay collected the rock category for all my love, and Sombr received a replacement award for Back to Friends.
