Carlos Alcaraz won the latest chapter of his engaging competition with Jannik Sinner, with four wins to regain the U.S. Open title.

Spain’s Alcaraz started strong and fought a second set from the Italian sinners before winning 6-2 3-6 6-1 6-1 6-4 in New York.

The men’s final was postponed for half an hour due to the presence of U.S. President Donald Trump.

Once started, the two played another compelling match – despite not having the drama and quality of the French Open and Wimbledon finals earlier this year.

In the upper level match of French Open champion Alcaraz, the region allowed him to face Sinner at All England Club, ensuring he regained the U.S. Open title, which he won for the first time in 2022.

The 22-year-old has now won six Grand Slam titles, making him a second-year man to reach that stat after Bjorn Borg.

Alcaraz’s victory ensures an equal distribution between him and the Sinner – The Sinner (winning the Australian Open and Wimbledon), four majors in 2025.

After facing the sinners in the fifth final of the season, Alkaraz said: “I see you better than my family. I’m happy to share the court with you.”

Alcaraz also seized the world’s No. 1 sinner, who held the post for 65 weeks.

Sinner was at his best for most of the game, saving two championship points before Alcaraz reset for a third chance.

Given his supreme service within two weeks, he knocked out the 131 mph ace before his familiar smile and celebrated with his current trademark golf swing, which was a proper way for Alcalazz.
