Joe Biden A spokesman said Thursday that he had recently undergone surgery to remove the skin cancer lesions.
His spokesman Kelly Scully confirmed the surgery after Inside Edition posted a video of Biden leaving the Delaware church, with new scars on his forehead.
She said Biden underwent MOHS surgery, which was used to remove the skin until there was no evidence of cancer.
Biden took office two years ago, his chest was removed from his chest. Lesions are basal cell carcinoma, a common form of skin cancer.
In March, Biden’s office announced that he had been diagnosed with aggressive prostate cancer, which had spread over the bones.
“Cancer touched all of us,” Biden wrote on social media at the time. “Like many of you, Jill and I learned that we are the strongest in the broken place.”
Over the years, the Biden family has repeatedly faced cancer. Biden’s son Beau died of a brain tumor and his wife Jill has cleared two cancers.
