Director of the FBI Kash Patel President Donald Trump’s “Make DC safe again” action is achieving real results.
From Wednesday to Thursday morning, FBI agents Federal partners reported 28 arrests, 12 gun recovery, 10 drug seizures and 80 arrests.
Patel said the crackdown is taking violent criminals off the streets and restoring law and order.

About 30 minutes after Patel released the latest data, Washington, D.C. Attorney General Brian Schwalb shared on X that he filed a lawsuit to curb the administration’s efforts in the U.S. capital, arguing that 2,300 armed forces were deployed National Guard Forces under federal command are illegal.
“DC does not require or agree to deploy the National Guard. However, we have 2,300 National Guards on our military equipment, carrying weapons and driving armored vehicles.”

He added that the deployment violates the POSSE COMITATUS Act, threatens democracy and civil liberties, and damages DC’s economy and public trust.
The White House defended the action, saying the president acted in his power and that the action was effective in combating violent crime.
